A fascinating look into how al’Qaeda recruits and trains its operatives. Omar Nasiri grew up in two different worlds, that of Morrocco and Europe. As a result, he didn’t fit into either of them.
Through a series of poor choices, he eventually found himself involved with arms dealers and terrorists. Which eventually led to the training camps of Afganistan as a spy for the French foreign service. But even though he spied for the French, it remains very clear that he didn’t seem to know where his loyalties were. A truly fascinating look into how one man viewed his relationship with the west.
